The Bespoke Creation Process
Because each bespoke jewel is unique and exclusive, each requires a creation process as such. Please note that the following is a guide. Most custom jewellery needs 6 to 8 weeks on average but some require up to 12 weeks especially if the design is complex or special stones need to be sourced. You will be kept up-to-date on the progress of your piece throughout the creation process.
Weeks 1 - 3
The first step in creating your piece is a meeting to understand your needs, what it is you are looking for and why. During this time we discuss ideas, styles, metal and stones you like. Ideas and designs will be sketched and presented to you within two to three weeks.
Weeks 4 - 8
Once you have chosen your perfect design we can start making your piece. You will be advised on which making process is used and why and we will keep you updated on the progress of your piece throughout.
Week 9 - 12
Your bespoke piece of jewellery is complete, ready to be delivered to you.
Amber is formed through the fossilisation of tree resin and dates back to the Middle Cretaceous and Tertiary periods, between 10 and 100 million years ago. This link to history is one of the reasons that attracted Frances to the stone. Complemented by a geometric 18ct yellow gold design, this piece is structural yet delicate, suited for a lady’s hand.
